Our Wild Harvest Box CSA is an introduction to the fascinating and delicious wild foods available in the Hudson Valley, including the crops historically cultivated here before colonization. Each Wild Harvest Box contains six to eight wild-harvested and forest-farmed ingredients, including mushrooms, wild veggies, nuts, berries, Eastern Woodlands crops, and herbal teas. Most importantly, we provide an informational sheet that gives detailed descriptions of the ecology and history of each species (as well as cooking tips). Each month's box contains entirely different ingredients, and by reserving multiple months, you get discounted prices while tasting a greater diversity of the historic foods the Hudson Valley has to offer! Wild Harvest Box orders must be placed at least one week in advance of the nearest upcoming delivery day in order for it to be available on that day. If an order is placed within the seven days before a delivery day or if the upcoming month is marked as sold out, the order will be bumped ahead to the next available month.
2025 Logistics: Due to a record-busy growing season (and two crazy toddlers!), we have decided to offer Wild Harvest Boxes only during the Spring months. Boxes pickups are from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM on the dates below:

Wild Harvest Box
We drop off Wild Harvest Boxes at each location just before 4:00 PM on each pickup date. It is important for you to pickup on time during each pickup window, as the busy staff at Kitty's and Left Bank are volunteering their time to help us. If you miss a pickup, the staff may not notice and might not be able to keep the box refrigerated overnight. There is no guarantee that your box will be available for pickup the next day. In the event of an emergency, we might be able to hold your box overnight on our farm, but you would need to let us know before we drop the Box off in Catskill or Hudson, and you would need to pick up in Cairo.
