About the Event
Join ethnoecologist Justin Wexler in his role as Greene Land Trust’s Steward to explore the meadows and woods of Coxsackie Creek Grasslands Preserve. On this leisurely walk, we will learn all about the the natural world through the lens of Northeastern Native languages, history, and folklore and talk about how the ecosystems of Coxsackie Flats have changed over the past thousand years. Park at the end of the cul-de-sac on Houghtaling Road in front of the preserve sign and kiosk.
