12:00 - 4:00 PM Ramp & Forage Festival: Come enjoy the flavors of ramp season in this collaboration between Catskill Brewery, Catskill Food Truck and Wild Hudson Valley! Eat ramps, buy ramps, and learn about ramps and many other springtime wild foods. Visit Wild Hudson Valley's table to chat about foraging and ramps stewardship & bring some ramps home to cook up yourself. At 1 PM, we'll gather for a special foraging workshop!
1:00 PM How to Take A Leek: A Ramp Stewardship and Springtime Foraging Workshop Workshop Details: Join Anna and Justin of Wild Hudson Valley for an introduction to the odoriferous ramp/wild leek (Allium tricoccum) and many wonderful edible and medicinal plants present in our landscape (and perhaps your own backyard!).
