About the Event

Many people have heard about the Three Sisters method of planting corn, beans and squash, yet there are many misconceptions about this highly effective and sustainable method of food production. Come and learn about how these crops are traditionally planted by native people and the many benefits that this method provides. This event includes a tour of a functional traditional garden and hands-on examples of different traditional corn, bean, squash, sunflower, and bottle gourd varieties.
