About the Event

By late July, most of our migrant and resident birds are wrapping up nesting and raising their broods. But many of the birds that we commonly see in the Hudson Valley moved here only in recent decades, and more than a few once common species are no longer found here. Join us this Saturday, July 29th from 10-11:30 for a presentation to learn how much Hudson Valley bird life has changed over the past five centuries. This presentation has a special emphasis on Northeastern bird names and folklore.
