About the Event

Our first Dye workshop! This program will start with a guided walk to learn about and identify traditional Northeastern native dye plants. Upon returning to camp, we'll have three different dye baths ready for everyone to dye their own bandana! Participants do not need to bring their own materials, we as will have a pre-mordanted cotton bandana for everyone.

·       Friday Night Fire – Gather under the stars for s'mores and a cozy campfire.

·       Saturday Dye Workshop – Learn about traditional native dye plants and dye your own fabric.

·       Sunday Forest Walk – Discover the fascinating species that live in an ancient floodplain forest.
