About the Event
Join us at CCE Columbia & Greene Counties’ Agroforestry Resource Center during NYS’s Maple weekend to explore the wonderful world of Maple. CCE will be teaming up with Wild Hudson Valley to take participants on a journey through the past to the present. Learn about the historical indigenous practices of maple sugaring, experience current methods to collect sap, see maple processing equipment in action and taste sap straight from the tree. Advance registration is required; space is limited.
All COVID related protocols will be in place. The program will occur primarily outdoors, with access to the building restricted to bathrooms only. Event will be canceled/ rescheduled if we experience unsuitable weather.
