About the Event

Come to Wild Hudson Valley Eco Camp for a presentation and short guided nature walk. We will begin with a presentation on the native peoples of the region, focusing on the Late Woodland period (five centuries ago) and their languages and lifeways during this era. The presentation is followed by a short nature walk to see the landscape through the lens of Hudson Valley indigenous culture. Bring comfortable walking shoes!
