About the Event

Twilight Cruise Aboard a 100% Solar Powered Boat with special guest Justin Wexler!

In the Hudson River native thought-world, twilight is a time of  transition and magic. We will explore the evening environment around the  Rondout/Hudson River through an indigenous lens. Depending on season,  tide and weather, visitors will learn about everything from Munsee  firefly and star lore to nocturnal sturgeon fishing techniques.

Tours are guided by ethnoecologist Justin Wexler of Wild Hudson  Valley, who has studied Hudson Valley indigenous culture, language, and  history for twenty years.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to get out on the water at night and learn about pre-colonial history!
