About the Event

Wild Hudson Valley is partnering with Molly Freiberg of Inhabit & Rise to offer a special Full Moon Mindful Nature Walk. We’ll use our senses, breath, and curiosity to begin to feel deeply present as we walk quietly and slowly through the beautiful trails of Wild Hudson Valley Farm by moonlight. Daily stress will fall away and you’ll leave feeling alive, grounded, and connected with the natural world.

About our guide: Molly Freiberg, LCSW, studied at the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership in 2018 to become a certified Mindful Outdoor Guide. In addition to leading regular Mindful Nature Walks for local land trusts and organizations, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and owner of the private therapy practice, Inhabit & Rise, in Troy, NY. A graduate of the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia, Molly weaves present-centered awareness and somatics with nature-connection practices to support people to nourish their roots and allow new paths, authenticity, and aliveness to emerge. Molly also supervises MSW students at UAlbany, offers occasional retreats, and provides training to therapists and other practitioners about using mindfulness in nature.

Proper protective footware is a must.

Check-in by 7:00 PM at the parking area near the greenhouse. (Follow directions to Abandoned Airport Road, Cairo, NY 12431. Turn left, and continue down driveway until greenhouse is reached).

As always, this event (and all on-farm events) are included with camping reservations.
