About the Event

Join us for a two hour walk and presentation and learn all about seasonal native wild edible plants, their history and ecology, how to gather them sustainably, and how to prepare them! Led by ethnoecologist Justin Wexler and agroforester Anna Plattner of Wild Hudson Valley. This event is a part of Foraged NY - Troy NY's Wildly Delicious Food Festival. We will be teaching at Rensselaer Land Trust's John B. Staalesen Vanderheyden Preserve. Make sure to bring comfortable walking shoes!

Advance registration for this event is required. Please do not attend if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to someone with COVID.
