About the Event

At this outdoor presentation, ethnoecologist Justin Wexler will present on daily life for regional Native Peoples in the era before colonization. Participants will have the opportunity to handle a wide array of actual Late Woodland tools found as surface finds in the area, including mortars and pestles, nutting stones, chert knives, drills, arrowheads and more. Participants will also get a good view of an authentic reconstruction of traditional Eastern Woodlands agriculture.
