About the Event
Join us for a morning exploration of local bird life! By late May, the majority of both our resident and summer breeding bird species have chosen their territories and nesting sites and are busy raising their families. We'll identify birds by sight and sound through the lens of Northeastern Indigenous bird names and folklore. Because we will traverse a variety of habitats, including meadow, mature forest, and the rocky shores of a large creek, please bring good walking shoes. And binoculars if you have them! Advance registration for this event is required, and space is limited.
Book a stay at Wild Hudson Valley Eco Camp and enjoy a full weekend of immersive experiences included in your camping reservation:
Friday Night Fire – Gather under the stars for s'mores and a cozy campfire.
Saturday Birdwatching Walk – A morning exploration of local bird life with an expert guide.
Sunday Forest Farm Tour – Learn about mushrooms, forest farming, and more!
