About the Event

Join us for a morning exploration of local bird life! By late May, the majority of both our resident and summer breeding bird species have chosen their territories and nesting sites and are busy raising their families. We'll identify birds by sight and sound through the lens of Northeastern Indigenous bird names and folklore. Because we will traverse a variety of habitats, including meadow, mature forest, and the rocky shores of a large creek, please bring good walking shoes. And binoculars if you have them!

Advance registration for this event is required, and space is limited. However, admission for this event is included in an Eco Camp reservation! Join us Memorial Day weekend for our Friday Night Fire (with s'mores!), this Saturday morning Birdwatching Walk, and our special Sunday morning Foraging Workshop. Click here to book your stay!
